Nutrition

Just as important as training and rest is to us runners, nutrition is also important and can be the difference between making it to states or falling short. It's important to make sure you're eating enough before competition, but not too close to competition that you feel full or sick when you run. Making sure you're supplying your body with the right nutrients and their proper amount can take your running to the next level, and even help you lose weight. 

It's also important to make sure you're supplying your body with the right nutrients after your workout and run. You want to make sure you're restoring nutrients that you lose when running or working out, as well as rebuilding your muscles since they can be damaged during activity.  

Many nutrients also supply your body with the needed energy for your workout. Without that energy, your body won't be able to withstand what you are putting it through. 

Better nutrition equals better performance.
